Today, the mixed pair competitions will be held in Muju, Republic of Korea, as part of the Muju Taekwondowon 2025 World Taekwondo Diamond Games (WT).
Two teams from the Uzbekistan national team will compete for victory, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.
Team “Uzbekistan-1” includes Ozodbek Mamadaliyev, Yodgor Juraboyev, Sevinch Khaitova, and Ozoda Sobirjonova. Representing “Uzbekistan-2” are Diyorbek Tukhliboyev, Shukhrat Salayev, Shabbona Abduvaliyeva, and Svetlana Osipova.
At the 1/8 finals, the “Uzbekistan-1” team will face the national team of Singapore, while “Uzbekistan-2” will compete against the representatives of Indonesia.
Yesterday, on the first day of this international tournament, Uzbekistan’s national team members Ozoda Sobirjonova and Madina Shoniyozova delivered an impressive performance in the pairs program.
In the semifinals, Uzbekistan’s talented taekwondo athletes defeated the team from Singapore. They went on to beat the representatives of the Republic of Korea in the final, earning the gold medal.
The tournament will continue until July 13.
