Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has issued a warning about potential increases in food prices across Tajikistan in 2026, citing global events and climate change as key factors.
“This is linked to world events as well as climate change,” the president said during a speech in Mastchoh district, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.
He added, “Therefore, we must efficiently use every favorable day of spring to ensure food supplies reach the consumer market and protect the country’s food security.”
