Since January 2025, Ural Interregional Office of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) has approved the export of 126.3 tons of canned meat from the Kurgan region to Uzbekistan, including both chunked products and pâtés.
The latest shipment on December 19, 2025, included 10 batches totaling 12.5 tons, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
All products underwent mandatory laboratory testing at the Chelyabinsk branch of the Federal Research Institute of Meat Industry, confirming high quality, safety, and full compliance with international standards.
Rosselkhoznadzor reported no discrepancies during inspections, allowing all products to be successfully exported.
The canned meat exports strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, while meeting the growing demand for high-quality food products in the country.
