Seven Killed, Nine Injured in Serious Road Accident in Uzbekistan

As a result of a traffic accident involving eight vehicles in the city of Angren in the Tashkent region, seven people died, The Caspian Post informs via Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan Telegram channel.

According to the information, the driver of the cement truck Shacman lost control and collided with two trucks and five cars parked at a railroad crossing in the direction of travel. The resulting fire was quickly extinguished.

In the accident, seven citizens died at the scene, five more were taken to hospital with injuries of varying severity, four were given assistance at the scene and did not require hospitalization.

A Government Commission headed by Deputy Prime Minister Achilbay Ramatov was created to investigate the incident and provide assistance to the victims and their families.
