Spring has arrived in full color in Tashkent as the city officially opened its annual Tashkent Flower Festival 2026, transforming the Uzbek capital into a vibrant celebration of nature, culture and creativity.
Held in the square of the National Library of Uzbekistan, the festival brings together flower exhibitions, cultural performances, traditional cuisine and live entertainment in one of the city’s most colorful spring events, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.
Organized by the Tashkent City Administrations alongside partner organizations, the festival features elaborate floral displays created by local designers and gardeners, showcasing thousands of blooming plants and decorative arrangements.
Visitors can also enjoy concert programs featuring popular artists, performances by creative groups, and a variety of family-friendly entertainment activities designed to celebrate the arrival of spring.
Food lovers are being treated to exhibitions of Uzbek national cuisine, adding traditional flavors to the festive atmosphere as crowds gather in central Tashkent.
Officials say the event aims to promote tourism, urban culture and community engagement while highlighting the beauty of the city during the spring season.
The Tashkent Flower Festival 2026 will continue until May 9, attracting residents and tourists alike to one of Uzbekistan’s brightest seasonal celebrations.
