Uzbek Delegation Joins Global Leaders at World Chinese Language Conference 2025

A high-level delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, has taken part in the opening ceremony of the World Chinese Language Conference 2025, a major international event focused on language education and global cooperation.

The conference gathered an impressive lineup of officials, including China’s Vice Premier Ding Xuesong and Minister of Education Xuai Xinping, along with ministers and deputy ministers of education from more than 10 countries-among them Azerbaijan, Georgia, Thailand, Moldova, Ghana, and Venezuela. Representatives from Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Cuba, Brazil, and many others also attended, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

In total, over 2,000 participants from 160 countries joined the event.

In her address, Hilola Umarova underscored the growing partnership between Uzbekistan and China in education, noting the successful joint projects already underway and the potential for deeper collaboration.

Throughout the conference, the Uzbek delegation is holding a series of meetings with Chinese government bodies and leading educational institutions to expand academic and cultural cooperation even further.
