Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan Strengthen Strategic Dialogue Within Organization of Turkic States

Chairman of the Committee on Judicial, Legal, and Anti-Corruption Issues of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulkhakim Eshmuratov has said that Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are deepening their cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Eshmuratov made these remarks during an international parliamentary conference in Baku, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

He emphasized that the political will of both countries’ leaders has elevated bilateral relations to a new level and noted that the Gabala OTS Summit marked an important step in reinforcing these ties.

“Thousands of Azerbaijanis live peacefully in Uzbekistan. Within the OTS framework, our countries have developed a crucial dialogue. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan actively cooperate at legislative and parliamentary levels, and these connections continue strengthening,” Eshmuratov added.
