Specialists from Uzbekistan's Chirchik Chemical-Industrial Technopark have held talks with representatives of China’s Xingang Paint Co. Ltd, discussing prospects for industrial cooperation.

During the meeting, the Chinese company expressed interest in launching an investment project to produce construction paints and varnishes, industrial anti-corrosion coatings, and decorative paints in Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The Xingang Paint delegation was presented with detailed information on the advantages of locating production at the Chirchik technopark, including existing tax and customs incentives, a well-developed engineering and utilities infrastructure, and the site’s strategic geographic location.

Following the talks, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in cooperation and agreed to continue consultations through established channels, paving the way for potential Chinese investment in Uzbekistan’s chemical and industrial sector.
