The Government of Uzbekistan has dispatched humanitarian aid to the people of Iran, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry announced.
The shipment included essential food supplies such as flour, rice, sugar, pasta, sunflower oil, and canned goods, along with medicines and medical equipment, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
All materials were delivered to Iran and handed over to the appropriate authorities.
The reception of the humanitarian cargo was attended by the Mayor of Daregaz, Mujtaba Bazmara; the Head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s representation in Khorasan Razavi Province; the Ministerial Advisor Ali Masumifar; and the Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ali Mujtaba Rouzbehani.
Officials expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the assistance and emphasized that this initiative reflects the long-standing traditions of friendship, mutual support, and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran.
