Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Expand Cooperation in Arts and Education

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are strengthening cultural and educational ties through a new agreement aimed at expanding academic exchanges, developing joint creative projects and promoting professional training in the arts.

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture and the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in Tashkent, UzA reports.

The agreement aims to deepen academic cooperation between the two institutions by creating more opportunities for students and faculty members to exchange knowledge, gain professional experience and participate in joint educational initiatives.

Under the memorandum, the institutions intend to organize academic exchanges for undergraduate and master's students, as well as provide internship and practical training opportunities.

The agreement also seeks to increase academic mobility among teaching staff and encourage specialists from both countries to deliver lectures and conduct masterclasses.

These initiatives are expected to help students and educators share expertise, develop professional skills and strengthen connections between Uzbekistan's and Kazakhstan's arts communities.

The partnership will also focus on joint creative and research projects, international conferences, seminars and professional development courses.

Both institutions plan to exchange educational materials and scientific publications, supporting the development of academic research and the sharing of best practices in arts education.

The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of the Central Asian International Education Forum, which is currently taking place in Tashkent.
