Armenia, Israel Discuss Joint Investments, Trade Ties

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan held a meeting with Israel’s Ambassador to Yerevan, Joel Lion, to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral economic cooperation.

The Honorary Consul of Israel in Armenia, Achot Chakhmouradian, also took part in the talks, The Capian Post report, citing Armenian media.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the discussions focused on prospects for increasing trade turnover between Armenia and Israel, as well as the potential for implementing joint investment projects.

The sides also paid particular attention to cooperation in agriculture, water resource management, and tourism. In addition, Papoyan presented the TRIPP and Crossroads of Peace initiatives.
