Armenian Apricot Shipment to Spain Spoils in Transit, Causing Major Export Losses

A shipment of Armenian apricots exported to Spain spoiled during transportation, resulting in significant financial losses and leaving the fruit unfit for sale.

The entire consignment arrived in Europe in poor condition, making it unsuitable for retail distribution, The Caspian Post reports via Sputnik Armenia.

Despite the setback, members of the Armenian community in Spain said they are determined to ensure that a fresh shipment reaches consumers.

“This is not the end,” the community said, pledging to make every effort to deliver a new batch of fresh Armenian apricots.
