Voter turnout in Armenia’s parliamentary elections continued to climb throughout the day, with turnout reaching 48.92% by 5:00 p.m. (GMT+4).
The latest figures indicate significantly stronger voter engagement compared with the previous parliamentary elections held in June 2021, The Caspian Post reports via News Armenia.
For comparison, turnout at the same time during the 2021 vote stood at 38.17%, meaning participation this year is running nearly 11 percentage points higher.
