Several districts of Armenia were left without electricity due to power outages.

The Electric Networks company reported that residents in several towns and villages across the Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn, and Ararat districts experienced disruptions in electricity supply, The Caspian Post reports, citing Sputnik Armenia.

The outages were caused by a breakdown in the power generation and transmission networks operated under the authority of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

Repair crews are currently working to restore electricity supplies.

The company apologized to customers for the inconvenience caused by the outages.
