Australia Thanks Azerbaijan for Assisting in Citizen Evacuation from Iran

On June 20, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation with his Australian counterpart, Penny Wong.

The Australian Foreign Minister outlined her country’s plans to evacuate its citizens from Iran and expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for the support provided.

The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral issues of mutual concern. They emphasized the importance of the political consultation mechanism between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
