Azerbaijan, Jordan Sign Visa-Free Travel Agreements

The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Jordan have signed a series of agreements, including a deal establishing a visa-free travel regime between the two countries.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Safadi have signed two agreements, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's message on X.

Among those agreements are “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on mutual exemption of the visa requirement for holders of ordinary passports;”

“Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on cooperation in the field of energy.” The agreements will facilitate people-to-people contacts and contribute to expanding tourism, business, economic, energy and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
