Azerbaijan's parliament has ratified an agreement introducing visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic passports between Azerbaijan and Sudan.

The legislation approving the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of the Sudan on the Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic Passports was discussed during an extraordinary session of parliament, The Caspian Post reports via Report.

Lawmakers subsequently approved the bill in a single reading, paving the way for the agreement to take effect in accordance with the procedures set out by both countries.
