Another round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia took place in Baku.
The consultations were led by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov and Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.
The sides conducted a broad exchange of views on the current state of bilateral relations, as well as on international and regional issues on the agenda of mutual interest.
It was emphasized that the agreements reached at the meeting between the leaders of the two countries on October 9 of this year in Dushanbe form the basis for bilateral political dialogue.
The consultations also covered prospects for cooperation in economic, trade, humanitarian, and other fields, as well as interaction within regional platforms.
Samir Sharifov also highlighted the bilateral normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
