Azerbaijan’s Lachin Hosts Global Conference Celebrating Heydar Aliyev’s Constitutional Legacy

An international conference titled “National Leader Heydar Aliyev: Author of the Constitution of Independent Azerbaijan” has opened at the Lachin Hotel.

The event was organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan in commemoration of 2025 being declared the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” by a presidential decree, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The conference brought together a distinguished group of participants, including Kamran Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General; Masim Mammadov, Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President; Yuri Nikolayevich Zhdanov, Executive Secretary of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States; Farhad Tutayuk, Judge of the Constitutional Court; Ahmet Gökay Aktaş, Prosecutor of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court of Türkiye; Rovshan Muradov, Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament; Temur Tsindeliani, Prosecutor in the International Cooperation Unit of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia; and other officials.
