Azerbaijan Showcases Youth Initiatives at International Youth Festival in Kazakhstan’s Almaty

Azerbaijan has actively showcased its youth initiatives at the 4th International Youth Festival of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Kazakhstan’s Almaty city.

Almaty marked its designation as the Turkic World Youth Capital for 2025, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

At the opening ceremony, representatives from the Azerbaijani city of Lankaran formally handed over the symbolic key to Almaty’s youth, underscoring the continuity of brotherhood, trust, and opportunities among Turkic nations.

The festival brought together delegations from OTS member countries - Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. Over the course of the event, participants exchanged experience and presented initiatives in the fields of youth policy, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and the development of social projects.

Organizers emphasized that the festival not only strengthens ties between the youth of Turkic states but also provides a platform for joint initiatives aimed at shaping the future of regional cooperation.
