COP32 in Ethiopia to Open New Ties with Azerbaijan

Ethiopian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Adem Mohammed Mahmoud, has said that Ethiopia’s selection as the host of COP32 in 2027 is expected to create new opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan.

The ambassador highlighted that COP32 offers significant potential for collaboration between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

“Azerbaijan successfully organized COP29, demonstrating strong institutional capacity. Ethiopia actively participated in COP29 and gained valuable experience. We hope Azerbaijan will join COP32 at the highest level and share its expertise with us,” the diplomat said.

He added that Ethiopia has extensive experience in hosting international conferences and is committed to the Green Legacy Initiative, which will be a key focus in preparing for COP32.
