Magnitude 3.5 Earthquake Strikes Southern Azerbaijan

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Azerbaijan’s Lankaran-Lerik border, 14 kilometers northwest of the Astara station, on Thursday, according to the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The quake occurred at a depth of 33 km and was recorded at 14:03.37 local time, The Caspian Post reports citing AZERTAC.
