Nepalese police have arrested two people suspected of defrauding job seekers by promising overseas employment in exchange for money, including job opportunities in Azerbaijan and Canada.

The suspects are 56-year-old Punya Prasad Niraula, a resident of the capital Kathmandu, and 20-year-old Shreya Shrestha, according to Report.

The Nepal Police Central Information Centre said complaints had been filed against both suspects by victims.
