Azerbaijan welcomed 68,021 tourists from Central Asian countries between June and August 2025, representing a 27.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
Kazakhstan accounted for the largest share, with 34,238 visitors, marking an 18.2 per cent rise year-on-year, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
Uzbekistan followed with 19,513 tourists (+52.9 per cent), and Turkmenistan contributed 8,613 visitors (+5.8 per cent).
Tourism from Tajikistan experienced a dramatic increase, rising 2.4 times to 2,620 tourists, while arrivals from Kyrgyzstan declined by 13.1 per cent, totaling 2,109 visitors.
