Armenia and Kazakhstan FMs Talk Expansion of Bilateral Cooperation

The two sides discussed efforts to expand the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Kazakhstan and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of shared interest.

On December 4, during the OSCE Ministerial Conference, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Murat Nurtleu, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenpress.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the two sides discussed efforts to expand the bilateral agenda between Armenia and Kazakhstan and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of shared interest.

Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the high-level political dialogue over the past year and reiterated their readiness to actively implement the agreements reached during high-level visits.

The Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on regional issues. They emphasized the importance of unblocking economic and transport communications and expanding the network of communication routes as key factors for ensuring stability and fostering mutually beneficial economic cooperation. In this context, they discussed the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Government of Armenia and the opportunities arising from its implementation.

Minister Mirzoyan also presented the latest developments in the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, reaffirming Armenia's commitment to seizing the historic opportunity to sign an agreement on normalizing relations in the near future.
