Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia Discuss Green Energy Agenda Priorities
The ministers highlighted the growth of Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia economic relations and emphasized strengthening collaboration between the business communities of the two countries.

During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, The Caspian Post reports citing Azertac.
The ministers highlighted the growth of Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia economic relations and emphasized strengthening collaboration between the business communities of the two countries.
Discussions centered on diversifying the economies of both nations in line with their sustainable development goals, as well as fostering trade and investment growth.
Minister Jabbarov also held a meeting with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, to discuss the priority areas of their green energy agendas. They reviewed the successful outcomes of joint initiatives in renewable energy and explored potential projects to further advance the energy transition.
Jabbarov emphasized that increasing the efficiency of renewable energy and expanding the role of alternative energy sources are key priorities in Azerbaijan’s economic development strategy. He also noted that Azerbaijan places significant importance on strengthening cooperation with Saudi Arabia in this sector.
