Kazakhstan has approved an agreement with the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis to exempt short-term visa requirements.

The document was approved by the Resolution of the Government dated November 20, 2024, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

According to the document, holders of valid travel documents are exempt from visa requirements for single or multiple entries, departures, transits, and temporary stays in the territory of the other party for a period not exceeding 90 calendar days within each period of 365 days from the date of the first entry.

“Those intending to stay in the territory of the other party's state for longer than the specified maximum period must obtain an appropriate visa required in accordance with the legislation of the other party's state.

At the same time, holders of diplomatic or service passports appointed to diplomatic missions and consular offices of their states on the territory of the state of the other party are exempt from visa requirements for entry, departure and transit through the territory of the state of the other party throughout the entire period of accreditation,” the document reads.

These regulations are applied to the members of their families and dependents, holders of valid diplomatic or service passports.

Kazakhstan’s valid travel documents are a diplomatic passport, a service passport, Kazakhstani citizen's passport, certificate of return (only for returning to Kazakhstan), and seafarer’s identity card (according to a record in the ship’s books or an extract from them).

The valid travel documents of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis are a diplomatic passport, an official passport, passport of a national of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, temporary travel document for returning to the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis (only for returning to the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis), and seafarer’s identity card (according to a record in the ship’s books or an extract from them).
