The Center of Uzbek Culture has opened at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.
This project, devoted to the educational institution's 110th anniversary, is the result of fruitful cooperation between BSPU and Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
“The center’s opening is another opportunity to expand humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. We plan to hold various cultural and educational events at the center”, BSPU Rector Aliaksandr Zhuk says.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Belarus Rakhmatulla Nazarov stressed the rapid development of bilateral relations.
“We need to train qualified personnel, good specialists, including in education”, Mr. Nazarov noted. “We need specialists who will work in the real economy. A lot has already been done to promote Uzbek culture in Belarus. In addition, in the future, the two countries plan to develop cooperation in various fields and discuss industrial cooperation”.
