Pakistan will organize a special Azerbaijani cultural showcase later this month under the fifth season of the "Cultural Colors" initiative, with the goal of advancing cultural diplomacy and deepening bilateral relations between the two nations.

The event, organized by the Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design in collaboration with Pakistan's Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, is scheduled to take place on Aug. 27 at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad, AZERTAC reported.

Held under the leadership of Pakistan's Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, the event seeks to foster cultural diplomacy, international cooperation and people-to-people exchanges through art, fashion and culture.

A highlight of the program will be an Azerbaijan-themed fashion presentation featuring a collection inspired by the country's cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship, artistic motifs and national identity.

Designed by the Fashion Department of the Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, the collection combines traditional Azerbaijani elements with contemporary fashion to showcase the country's cultural legacy to an international audience.

According to the organizers, the presentation is intended to further strengthen Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations, encourage cultural exchanges and provide a platform for dialogue among diplomats, government officials, representatives of international organizations, media professionals, designers, artists and students.

The event is organized by Syed Usman Tahir, advisor to Pakistan's federal minister for national heritage and culture and chief executive officer of the Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design.

The Azerbaijan presentation has been developed under the creative direction of Sidra ul Muntaha, head of department at the institute, whose concept blends traditional cultural narratives with modern fashion aesthetics while highlighting the contribution of young designers to cross-cultural understanding.
