Minor Earthquake Hits 35 km Near Bishkek

The Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences reported that a magnitude 3 earthquake struck the Chui region at 11:07 on January 4, The Caspian Post reports citing Akipress.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 20 km to the south-west of Kashka-Suu village, 35 km to the south-west of Bishkek.

The earth tremors were felt around magnitude 2.5 in Kashka-Suu and Tosh-Bulak villages.
