T’way Air to Launch Charter Flights Between Seoul and Tbilisi

South Korean low-cost carrier T’way Air is planning to operate direct non-scheduled (charter) flights between Seoul and Tbilisi, opening a new air link between the two countries.

The flights will run during the 2026 summer navigation season, from April 24 to October 16. Operations are set to be carried out using Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft, with a total of eight flights planned between the two capitals, The Caspian Post reports via Georgian media.

Previously, in 2024-2025, seasonal charter flights between Georgia and South Korea were also operated by Korean Air. Passenger traffic between the two countries reached 1,077 travelers in 2024 and rose to 2,233 in 2025.

Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency, operating under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, has already granted T’way Air the necessary authorization to operate the flights, marking another step toward expanding Georgia’s international air connectivity.
