Southern Kazakhstan will experience a significant rise in temperatures as hot and dry air masses from Iran move into the region starting August 8.

Daytime temperatures are expected to soar to between 35°C and 41°C, marking a potential heatwave in several southern provinces, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

In contrast, northern parts of the country will remain under the influence of cooler air masses, resulting in unsettled weather conditions. Forecasters predict intermittent rain showers, thunderstorms, and in certain areas, heavy rainfall and a risk of hail.
