On Thursday evening, Mozambique's Foreign Minister Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas held a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi during the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Kampala.
During the meeting, the two top diplomats discussed bilateral relations, regional and international developments, and expressed their countries’ readiness to enhance contacts at various levels to expand cooperation, The Caspian Post reports citing Iranian media.Both sides also exchanged views on key issues on the NAM agenda, particularly the need for greater cooperation and solidarity among Global South countries to effectively confront unilateralism and repeated violations of international law, as well as the situation in occupied Palestine.
