Iran has reportedly lost more than 90% of its missile launchers during military operations against the US and Israel.

Sources say Washington and Tel Aviv have refined their tactics since the escalation in summer 2025, focusing on destroying launchers and command centers-targets that cannot be buried or quickly replaced-effectively limiting Iran’s ability to conduct large-scale strikes, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

Unlike missiles themselves, launchers are vulnerabl0e and have become a key strategic target. Earlier, the Pentagon reported a 90% drop in Iranian missile launches and an 83% drop in drone launches compared with the start of the operation. Israeli broadcaster i24 News last week estimated Iran had lost 60% of its missile launchers and air defense systems.
