Iran to Receive $3 Billion in Frozen Assets: Report

Iran is expected to receive $3 billion of its frozen assets by the end of the week, while US and Iranian delegations are scheduled to hold indirect talks in Qatar on Wednesday, according to unnamed sources, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Arabiya.

According to the sources, the talks, which will be held in the presence of mediators, will focus on the Strait of Hormuz and broader regional stability issues.

The sources also said that both the US and Iranian delegations were expected to meet Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Pakistani mediators in Doha on Tuesday.
