Iran, UAE Move to Strengthen Aviation Cooperation

The official visit of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization head to the United Arab Emirates marks a key step toward enhancing air travel ties between the two countries.

Hossein Pourfarzaneh, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and head of the Civil Aviation Organization, visits the UAE at the invitation of Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.

During this visit, joint meetings will be held involving deputies and officials from both countries’ civil aviation organizations.

They will discuss plans to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the aviation sector, focusing on enhancing flight safety, exchanging technical expertise, expanding airline routes, and collaborating on the training of aviation personnel.

A preliminary agreement is anticipated to be signed concerning air navigation, safety, and joint research and development initiatives.
