Iranian FM to Visit China Amid Middle East Tensions

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will travel to China for an official visit on September 16, as Tehran and Beijing seek to strengthen cooperation amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

During his visit to Beijing, Araghchi is expected to hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The two sides will discuss bilateral relations and the implementation of their 25-year strategic cooperation program, according to Tasnim.

Regional developments will also feature prominently in the talks, with the ministers expected to coordinate their positions amid the worsening situation in the Middle East.
