Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has said that US President Donald Trump does not understand the resilience of the Iranian people.

Larijani made these remarks during a mass rally marking Quds Day, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

Addressing participants at the demonstration, Larijani commented on recent strikes by Israel, describing them as a sign of weakness.

"Trump doesn't understand that the Iranian people are mature, strong, and determined. The more US pressure, the stronger the people's will. The Zionist regime's attacks on the march show its desperation," he said.
