US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that 127 commercial vessels have been redirected and six ships have been disabled as part of the United States' blockade of Iranian ports, The Caspian Post reports.

According to CENTCOM, 36 vessels carrying or supporting humanitarian aid were permitted to continue their passage.

The Trump administration has continued enforcing the blockade on Iran’s ports as part of efforts to increase pressure on Tehran to reach an agreement aimed at ending the conflict and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
