Iran's Chabahar Port sustained damage to its maritime traffic control center following a reported US strike.
Despite the damage, Iranian authorities said the incident did not disrupt port operations, with vessel navigation and maritime traffic continuing without interruption, The Caspian Post reports via Iran's ISNA news agency.
The report comes after Iranian media on July 8 and 9 reported explosions in several strategic port cities and coastal locations, including Bandar Abbas, Jask, Sirik, Chabahar, Akkala, Isfahan, as well as Abu Musa Island and parts of Bushehr Province.
Chabahar is one of Iran's key ports on the Gulf of Oman and plays an important role in regional trade and international transport corridors, making any developments affecting the port closely watched.
