An-2 Aircraft Crashes During Crop-Dusting Mission in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar

An Antonov An-2 aircraft crashed in Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar Region while carrying out agricultural work, leaving one person dead and another injured.

The incident occurred near the village of Zhelezinka during crop-dusting operations conducted by the Public Association “Operators of Light and Ultralight Aviation” (ELISA), The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

Preliminary information suggests the aircraft may have struck power lines before crashing.

Two people were on board the plane at the time of the accident. Emergency responders managed to rescue one of the pilots, while the second person died at the scene.
