Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Victory Day, emphasizing the holiday's historical significance and its role in promoting lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

In his congratulatory telegram, Tokayev noted that November 8 holds special importance in the history of Azerbaijani statehood, Qazinform News Agency reports.

He also stressed that the date carries significance for strengthening long-term peace and stability across the South Caucasus for the benefit of all countries in the region.

The Kazakh leader further highlighted the strong strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, expressing confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to expand and deliver tangible benefits to both nations.
