Kazakhstan's Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu praised the collaboration between Kazakhstan's Institute of Nuclear Physics and the Centre for Energy Research in Budapest.
Kazakhstan-Hungary relationship does not revolve around figures and agreements alone, but has a valuable spiritual component to allow cultural and humanitarian ties, said Nurtleu during a joint press conference following the talks with Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, The Caspian Post reports citing Kazinform.The Kazakh diplomat expressed his gratitude to the Hungarian government, pointing out that nearly 1,000 Kazakhstani students are currently studying in Hungary and that around 250 grants are allocated.
During the meeting, the sides signed a memorandum of mutual understanding between the country’s Diplomatic Academies a well as an agreement to expand the Hungarian Language and Culture Center at the Eurasian National University.
We also positively assessed the cooperation between Kazakhstan’s Institute of Nuclear Physics and the Centre for Energy Research in Budapest and agreed to carry out major projects in science, said the head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
He went on to add that Kazakhstan is set to operate direct flights en route from Shymkent to Budapest starting from this May.
