Kazakhstan Railways’ KTZ Express Ships First Ever Wheat Flour Export to US

KTZ Express, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ - Kazakhstan Railways), has successfully completed its first experimental export shipment of Kazakh wheat flour to the US.

On September 16, 50 tons of flour produced by Salamat Company LLP and sold under the Eurasian Legacy brand were transported from Kostanay, Kazakhstan, to New York. This shipment represents a significant milestone in Kazakhstan’s efforts to expand its presence in the US food market, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Following this pilot delivery, KTZ Express revealed plans to scale up operations, aiming to increase monthly export volumes substantially.
