Kazakhstan will reallocate hundreds of thousands of tons of crude oil exports following adjustments to transit schedules along the Druzhba pipeline.
The move is part of a planned operational shift and has already been coordinated with shippers, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Under the revised export scheme:
100,000 tons of oil will be redirected to the Port of Ust-Luga
160,000 tons will be sent through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system
Officials emphasized that the redistribution is technical in nature and will not affect the country’s overall annual oil production targets.
