A dramatic video showing a powerful water “geyser” shooting into the air in Zhanaozen, Kazakhstan, has gone viral on social media, sparking concern among residents.

The incident was caused by an accident at a facility operated by Ozenmunaigas. A large-diameter pipeline - measuring 1,020 mm - was damaged, leading to a rupture that sent water gushing upward like a fountain, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
