Georgia's Gori and Kazakhstan's Karaganda Become Sister Cities

Georgia's Gori city and Kazakhstan’s Karaganda city have officially signed a sister-city agreement, marking a new step in municipal cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan.

The agreement was signed during a visit by Gori mayor Konstantin Buzaladze to Kazakhstan, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The partnership aims to develop joint projects and encourage the exchange of experience between the two municipalities, including in urban management and local development initiatives.

Karaganda becomes the first sister city of Gori in Kazakhstan, highlighting growing ties between the two regions and expanding opportunities for cultural and administrative cooperation.
