Kazakhstan, Türkiye to Sign Declaration on Eternal Friendship

Kazakhstan and Türkiye are set to adopt a Declaration on Eternal Friendship and Expanded Strategic Partnership, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced during the 6th meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Astana.

Tokayev said the upcoming declaration will provide a new boost to bilateral relations and further strengthen cooperation between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

He emphasized that Kazakhstan and Türkiye share common goals, mutual aspirations, and significant untapped potential for expanding ties across multiple sectors.

The Kazakh leader also noted that relations between Astana and Ankara are already developing dynamically within the expanded strategic partnership.

The announcement comes during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s state visit to Kazakhstan, where the two sides are holding high-level talks aimed at deepening political and economic cooperation.
