New Kazakhstan–Türkiye Route Boosts FlyArystan Expansion

Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan has launched new direct flights to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, expanding air connectivity between Kazakhstan and Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast.

The Almaty-Gazipaşa-Alanya route will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from May 13 to October 24, 2026, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.

The Astana-Gazipaşa-Alanya service will run twice a week as well, on Mondays and Thursdays, between May 11 and October 22, 2026.

The inaugural Almaty flight was welcomed at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport with a traditional water cannon salute, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony and small gifts for passengers.

Situated around 40 km southeast of Alanya, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport provides convenient access to popular resort areas including Mahmutlar, Kestel, Oba, Avsallar and Konaklı, as well as nearby destinations such as Side and Belek.

In 2025, the airport handled over one million passengers and connected 18 destinations across 10 countries via 17 airlines.

The expansion comes as regional air connectivity continues to grow, with new routes such as Astana-Ulaanbaatar also expected to launch in June, operated by SCAT Airlines.
