Kazakhstan Uncovers Huge Drug Warehouse

A massive drug stash has been uncovered in Aksu, Kazakhstan, and around 300 kilograms of illegal substances have been seized.

A joint operation by the Committee of the Penal System of the Kazakh Interior Ministry and the Anti-Crime Department of Pavlodar Region dismantled the warehouse, which was hidden inside a local garage cooperative, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Investigators found 13 large bags of plant-based drugs totaling approximately 300 kg.

The confiscated materials have been sent for forensic chemical analysis to accurately determine their composition and weight.

The operation was made possible thanks to intelligence from a detainee in the Pavlodar pre-trial detention center, whose cooperation helped trace the warehouse and the criminal network behind it.

Police are now working to identify supply channels and all individuals involved in running the illegal operation. Further investigative actions are ongoing, with all case materials forwarded to the relevant authorities for procedural decisions under Kazakhstan's law.
